Cyriel Diels is the Academic Director of the National Transport Design Centre at Coventry University exploring future vehicle design. Following his doctoral research at Loughborough University into motion sickness occurring in simulated and virtual environments, he worked as a behavioural researcher at the Transport Research Laboratory and Jaguar Land Rover before returning to academia. His current research focusses on the passenger comfort experience in shared and automated vehicles.
