Constance LE GRIP

French Member of Parliament, co-author of the report: “the European digital market”
Constance Le Grip has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2010. Elected for the Ile-de-France constituency and French citizens abroad district, she belongs to the European People’s Party (EPP) group.

Mrs. Le Grip began her career with Alain Lamassoure, when he was Member of the French Parliament and Member of the European Parliament, then Minister. She continued her work with Nicolas Sarkozy, who was Minister and President of the General Council of Hauts-de-Seine. When he was elected President of the French Republic, Mrs. Le Grip was his technical advisor at the Presidence for relations with members of the National Assembly and European Parliament.

Constance Le Grip became a Member of the European Parliament when she succeeded Michel Barnier, who was named European Commissioner. She was then re-elected in 2014.

At the European Parliament, she is vice president of EPP’s French delegation and a member of the constitutional affairs committee, of the legal affairs committee, and of the women’s rights committee, of which she is the EPP’s coordinator.

Constance Le Grip is also the National Secretary of Les Républicains in charge of relations with foreign parties. She supports Nicolas Sarkozy for the primary election.
