Safety has always been one of the most critical vehicle assets, historically driving trust and confidence in the OEM/customer relationship. As customer expectations change in the new autonomous ecosystem, the balance of safety, connectivity and trust will be fundamental to success.
Increased attention on testing car automation s and connectivity capabilities is expected. A renewed focus on testing will ensure safety and see the development of anti-hacking strategies to protect passengers against cyber risks and personal data breaches.
